Empowering the Next Generation
I believe that every child deserves to be seen and valued. For many young people, a professional portfolio is the first step toward realising their potential in the arts, performance, or their future career.
Through Lens For Purpose, I dedicate my skills to providing high-quality professional portfolios for youth who lack the resources. By supporting organisations like the Singapore Association for the Deaf through our proceeds, we help ensure that every child—regardless of their background or physical challenges—has a professional visual identity to pursue their dreams with confidence.
The work doesn't stop at portraits. A lot of what I do is turning up at fundraisers, showcases, and community events for local non-profits — the days that keep these organisations running. Last year that came to over 150 hours behind the camera, given freely. Whether it's one child in front of a backdrop or a hall full of them on stage, the aim is the same: make sure the moment is seen, and the people in it are valued.
